We've all got an inner critic. Often this little voice can help
us get focused on goals. However, such a voice may also be more
dangerous than beneficial, mainly as it breaks into the domain of
unwanted negativity. This behavior is recognized as negative
self-talk and can potentially drag everyone down.
A negative self can cause anxiety and considerable discomfort, not
just to ourselves but also to everyone around us if we are not
vigilant.
In this purpose-filled episode of Oracle on Purpose, I am honored
to bring stress and anxiety coach Sandra Woznicki. She is a coach
helping career-driven women and working moms master their stress
and anxiety to start enjoying their lives and motivate themselves
with kindness instead of criticism.
Sandra helps women improve their relationships and kick ass at work
without the mom's guilt of feeling like a fraud.
Key takeaways covered in the episode:
• Be conscious that the stories that we're telling ourselves keep
us in a state of anxiety; it's us that's threatening ourselves.
Watch the full episode and learn how to face anything that life
throws at you with graceful resilience.
• Be reminded that self-awareness is like having a bright
flashlight to find your way out of the woods at night. It's an act
of importance to put your health first and to take care of
yourself.
• Learn to heart that the ripple we make when we take care of
ourselves as women go far beyond our own families.
• Live by the belief that we're making a better impact in the world
when we're authentically on purpose.
• Understand that in dealing with anxiety, resistance is futile.
Breathing and leaning into anxiety and releasing your resistance to
it is the fastest path out of it.
